How to read it读音

单chán: In chan yu this character is read chán. Chanyu was the title of the Xiongnu ruler; here it names a horn tune.“单于”的“单”读 chán。单于本是匈奴首领的称号，这里指曲子《小单于》。
骑qí: Today this is read qí. In old usage, as a noun meaning a horse and rider, it was read jì.按今天的习惯读 qí。古时“骑”作名词（骑马的人、坐骑）读 jì。
为wèi: In wei wen this character is read wèi, meaning let me, or on someone's behalf.“为问”的“为”读 wèi，意思是替、请让我。

Background创作背景

This lyric describes one winter night on the road, stopping at an inn. The horn, the wind and snow, the whirling leaves and the startled geese all make the traveller feel very alone. In a dream he goes home, sees the plum blossoms, and thinks of the woman he loves. We no longer know exactly when or where it was written. It was chosen for the Three Hundred Song Lyrics and is Kong Yi's best-known work.

这首词写冬天在旅途中投宿的一夜。号角声、风雪、乱叶、惊雁，让一个远行的人格外孤单。他在梦里回到故乡，看见梅花，想起家中的心上人。词的具体写作时间和地点已经不清楚。它被收进《宋词三百首》，是孔夷流传最广的作品。

The poet作者

Kong Yi lived in the Northern Song. He came from Longxing in Ruzhou, around today's Baofeng in Henan. He is usually said to have never taken office and to have lived quietly in the countryside, calling himself the Fisherman of the Zhi Riverbank. Few of his lyrics survive, and this one, clear and sad, is the most famous.

孔夷，北宋人，字方平，汝州龙兴（今河南宝丰一带）人。一般说他没有做官，隐居在乡间，自号“滍皋渔父”。他的词留下来的很少，这首《南浦》写得清丽凄凉，最有名。

The mood意境

The first stanza is all sound and cold: the sad horn in the wind, the tune played again and again on the tower, snow over a lonely village, leaves tapping at the window, startled geese crying in cold clouds. A man riding hard on a long road stops for the night in a strange little village. The second stanza turns inward. The moon is the same moon, but everything hurts now. He dreams of the plum blossoms at home, thinks of her, and asks the blossoms whether they are weeping too. The last line pictures her leaning by the screen at dusk, her brows drawn tight. The poet does not say outright that he misses her. He imagines her missing him, so the longing belongs to both of them.

上阕全是声音和寒冷：风里悲凉的号角，城楼上一遍遍的曲子，雪满孤村，乱叶敲窗，惊雁在冷云里哀叫。一个骑马赶路的人，就在这样的夜里住进陌生的小村。下阕转到心里：月亮还是那个月亮，人却处处伤心。他梦见故乡的梅花，又想起家里的她，问梅花是不是也在流泪。最后一句设想她靠着屏风望黄昏，眉头紧锁。词人不直接说自己想她，而是写她想自己，这样思念就变成了两个人的。
