Underlined words have notes: tap one. The Pinyin button below shows or hides all pinyin. 一 and 不 are marked with the tone you actually say.字下有虚线的,点开有注释。下方的“拼音”按钮可以显示或隐藏全部拼音。“一”“不”标的是实际读出来的变调。

This uses the commonly printed text. The corpus has another version of lines two to four, with a few different words (lazy and slow instead of handed over; dew instead of rain; a decree instead of a permit; presented instead of sent up). The meaning is much the same.

这里用通行本。语料库第二、三、四句作“天教懒慢带疏狂”“曾批给露支风敕,累奏留云借月章”,是另一种版本,意思差不多。

Background创作背景

The Western Capital is Luoyang. In the Northern Song, Luoyang was the western capital. Zhu Dunru came from Luoyang and lived there when young, refusing to take office. This lyric is usually thought to come from those early years. In a joking voice he states his wish: he loves only mountains, rivers, poems and wine, and wants nothing to do with powerful people.

西都就是洛阳。北宋时,洛阳是西京,所以叫西都。朱敦儒是洛阳人,年轻时住在那里,不肯去做官。一般认为这首词是他早年在洛阳时写的,用开玩笑的口气说明自己的志向:只爱山水诗酒,不想和权贵打交道。

The poet作者

Zhu Dunru (1081–1159) was a Song lyric poet from Luoyang. When young he lived like a hermit and turned down the court's calls more than once. After the Northern Song fell he fled south and later did serve as an official. His lyrics use plain words and sound as natural as speech.

The mood意境

This lyric is like a man loudly introducing himself. He starts: I am Heaven's keeper of mountains and rivers, born to love freedom. Then he invents a playful job for himself: signing papers for wind and rain, and sending up requests to keep the clouds and borrow the moon. Wind, rain, clouds and moon are all his to manage, which shows how much he loves nature. In the second half he says he has written ten thousand poems and drunk a thousand cups, and never cared about lords and princes. In the end he is too lazy even to return to the jade towers of Heaven. He only wants to wear plum blossoms and stay drunk in Luoyang. The whole lyric is carefree and funny. It shows a man who will not be tied down by fame or money.

这首词像一个人在大声介绍自己。开头就说:我是天上管山水的官,天生就爱自由。接着他编了一套好玩的“工作”:批风雨的公文,写留云借月的奏章。风、雨、云、月都归他管,可见他有多爱大自然。下片说诗写了上万首,酒喝了上千杯,从来不把王侯放在眼里。最后,连天上的玉楼金殿他都懒得回去,只想插着梅花醉在洛阳。整首词又潇洒又幽默,让人看到一个不愿被名利捆住的人。
