The commonly taught text has "qiū niáng dù yǔ tài niáng qiáo" in line four, two place names in Wujiang: Qiuniang Ferry and Tainiang Bridge. The corpus text has two different characters that mean "pass" and "charming", usually thought to be a copying difference; textbooks and most anthologies use "ferry" and "bridge". The corpus also writes the tune name with an old form of the character for "cut".
