还hái: In yù shuō hái xiū it is usually read hái, "and yet". Some read it huán.欲说还休的“还”，现在一般读 hái，意思是“又、却”。也有人读 huán。
干gān: In fēi gān it is read gān, "to concern", not gàn.非干的“干”读 gān，意思是“关系到”，不读 gàn。

Background创作背景

This lyric is about the sorrow Li Qingzhao felt at home when her husband Zhao Mingcheng was setting off on a long journey. It is usually thought to have been written around the time they parted, but sources disagree on the year. The tune name comes from a legend. Nongyu, daughter of Duke Mu of Qin, and her husband Xiao Shi both loved to play the flute, and in the end they flew away together on phoenixes. So the tune suits a lyric about a husband and wife apart.

这首词写的是丈夫赵明诚要出远门，李清照在家中送别时的愁苦。一般认为是她和丈夫分别前后写的，但具体是哪一年，说法不一。词牌“凤凰台上忆吹箫”来自一个传说：秦穆公的女儿弄玉和丈夫萧史都爱吹箫，后来一起乘着凤凰飞走了。这个词牌很适合写夫妻离别。

The poet作者

Li Qingzhao (1084 to about 1155), also called Yi'an, was the most famous woman poet of the Song. She and her husband Zhao Mingcheng loved each other deeply and collected old bronzes, stone rubbings, books and paintings together. Her early lyrics are mostly about life at home and missing someone far away. Her words are plain yet delicate, a model of the gentle style.

李清照（1084—约1155），号易安居士，宋代最有名的女词人。她和丈夫赵明诚感情很好，两人一起收藏金石书画。她前期的词多写闺中生活和离别相思，语言浅白又细腻，是婉约词的代表。

The mood意境

This lyric is about parting, yet it almost never says "I am sad" outright. It begins with one morning: the incense burner is cold, the quilt is tossed, she gets up but cannot bother to comb her hair, the make-up box gathers dust, and the sun is already high. These small things show that she has no heart for anything. She says she has much to say but cannot say it. She has grown thin, but not from wine and not from autumn. She leaves the real reason unsaid, and the reader understands at once: her husband is leaving. The second stanza opens with "enough, enough", like a long sigh. No number of farewell songs can keep him. He is far away now, mist locks in her tower, and only the stream below keeps her company as she gazes out all day. At the end she says the place where she gazes now holds one more new sorrow. Her longing is drawn out thin and long.
