The source text is titled "Song of Weicheng" and its second line ends yang liu chun (willows in spring). Today's textbooks and most editions title it "Seeing Yuan the Second Off on a Mission to Anxi", with the second line ending liu se xin (the willows look fresh), which is used here. The poem was later set to music as "Song of Weicheng", also called "Three Refrains at Yang Pass", which is why it has two titles.
