Background创作背景

This lyric is about a man far from home who misses a former love in spring. He remembers a Cold Food Festival long ago, when he and his sweetheart enjoyed the spring together in the capital. Now he is at the edge of the world, spending another spring alone. The lyric does not say when or where it was written, and very little is known about the poet's life, so the setting can no longer be told.

这首词写的是一个漂泊在外的人，在春天里想念从前的恋人。他想起当年寒食节，和心上人一起在京城游春；如今自己却远在天涯，独自过着又一个春天。词里没有写明是哪一年、在哪里写的，作者的生平也知道得很少，所以写作背景已经说不清了。

The poet作者

Li Jia, courtesy name Jingyuan, was a Northern Song ci poet. Very little is known about his life. Records say he came from Huating, around today's Songjiang in Shanghai, held minor local posts, and was a skilled painter. Few of his lyrics survive; this one was chosen for Three Hundred Song Lyrics.

李甲，字景元，北宋词人，生平事迹留下来的很少。据记载他是华亭（今上海松江一带）人，做过地方小官，还擅长画画。他的词留下来的不多，这首《帝台春》被收进了《宋词三百首》。

The mood意境

The first stanza begins with spring. Fragrant grass fills the paths, and willow fluff and petals fly in the warm wind, as if they knew how weak he feels. Then he remembers the past, when he spent the Cold Food Festival in the capital with his sweetheart, so happy. Now he is a stranger at the edge of the world. It is spring again, but his heart is completely different. The second stanza opens with four short lines of three characters each: the sorrow is let go and woven up again; the tears are wiped away and fall again. The rhythm is short and quick, like sob after sob. Then he leans on every part of the railing, and sees only evening clouds. The next two lines are in plain speech: if I am to let go, I have let go; but forget her? How could I! They show the struggle inside a person very truly. In the end he still cannot help asking for news of her.

上片从春景写起：芳草长满小路，柳絮和落花在暖风里乱飞，好像也知道人没有力气。然后回忆从前，和心上人在京城过寒食节，多么快乐；再看现在，自己在天涯海角做客，同样是春天，心情完全不同。下片连用四个三字短句：“愁旋释，还似织，泪暗拭，又偷滴。”愁刚放下又缠上来，泪刚擦干又流下来，节奏又短又急，像一声声抽泣。接着他靠遍栏杆，看到的只有暮云。“拚则而今已拚了，忘则怎生便忘得”用的是大白话：说放下，已经放下了；说忘掉，哪里忘得了！这两句把人心里的矛盾说得非常真切。最后他还是忍不住去打听她的消息。
