How to read it读音

那nǎ: Here this character works like the word for "which" and is read nǎ, so the phrase asks "which way". Some read it nà, meaning "over there".“那”在这里同“哪”，读 nǎ，“那边”就是“哪边”，问去哪里。一说读 nà，指那一边。

Background创作背景

This is a farewell lyric. Wang Guan's friend Bao Haoran was going home to eastern Zhejiang, and Wang Guan wrote this lyric to see him off. Little is known today about Bao Haoran's life. From the lyric, we can tell the parting came just as spring had ended.

这是一首送别词。王观的朋友鲍浩然要回浙东（今浙江东部）的家乡，王观写了这首词送他。鲍浩然的生平今天已经不太清楚了。从词里看，送别的时候正是春天刚刚过去。

The poet作者

Wang Guan, courtesy name Tongsou, was a Northern Song lyric poet from Rugao (today's Rugao, Jiangsu). He passed the highest exam and served as an official, but was later removed from office and called himself the Banished Guest. His lyrics have fresh ideas and playful language, and this one is his most famous.

王观，字通叟，如皋（今江苏如皋）人，北宋词人。他考中进士，做过官，后来被罢官，自号“逐客”。他的词构思新奇，语言俏皮，这首《卜算子》就是他最有名的作品。

The mood意境

Most farewell poems are sad, but this one is playful and warm. The opening is fresh. It does not say the water is like eyes and the hills like brows. It says the water is a glance and the hills are brows, as if all the land of eastern Zhejiang is lovingly waiting for the friend to come home. The second stanza says: I have just seen spring off, and now I see you off. Two partings at once bring a little sadness. But the poet does not weep. He tells his friend: if you reach the east and catch up with spring there, be sure to stay with it. His good wishes sound light and lovely, and they make the reader smile.

送别的诗大多很伤感，这首却写得又俏皮又温暖。开头就很新奇：不说水像眼睛、山像眉毛，而是反过来说，水就是眼波，山就是眉峰，好像整个浙东的山水都在含情脉脉地等着朋友回家。下阕说：刚送走春天，又要送你，两次送别叠在一起，有一点不舍。可是词人没有哭哭啼啼，而是叮嘱朋友：到了江东要是还能赶上春天，千万要和春天住在一起。把对朋友的祝福说得轻松又美好，读了让人会心一笑。
