The corpus has huang ying in line one; most common editions have huang li. Both name the same kind of yellow songbird, the oriole. The corpus ends line six with xin meaning new; common editions have xin meaning heart. The poem rhymes on lin, yin, shen, xin and zan, and only the character for heart fits the old rhyme.
