重chóng: Here it means "layer upon layer" and is read chóng.这里是“层层”的意思，读 chóng。
槛jiàn: Here it means a railing and is read jiàn. Only as "threshold" is it read kǎn.这里指栏杆，读 jiàn。“门槛”的槛才读 kǎn。

Background创作背景

This lyric is set on a spring morning. Someone wakes from a dream and misses a loved one far away. The first stanza shows the scene before him and his listless mood. The second stanza recalls the times they spent together, imagines that she misses him too, and ends with the wish that she come back and never leave again. The lyric does not say when or where it was written.

这首词写的是一个春天的清晨，一个人从梦里醒来，想念远方的心上人。上片写他眼前的景色和没精打采的心情；下片写他回忆从前和她一起游玩，又想象她那边也在想念自己，最后盼望她能回来，永远不再分开。词中没有写明写作的时间和地点。

The poet作者

Zhang Zi was a ci poet of the Southern Song. His courtesy name was Gongfu, and he called himself Yuezhai. He was the great-grandson of the famous general Zhang Jun. Born into a rich family, he wrote poems and lyrics and was also good at painting bamboo and rocks. His lyrics were gathered as the Yuzhaotang Lyrics. Some records keep only the surname Zhang, with no given name. The lyric was chosen for Three Hundred Song Lyrics under Zhang Zi's name, which shows how highly it is valued.

张镃，南宋词人，字功甫，号约斋，是南宋名将张俊的曾孙。他生在富贵人家，会写诗填词，也擅长画竹子和石头，词集叫《玉照堂词》。有的资料只记下作者姓张，没有名字。这首词被选进了《宋词三百首》，署名张镃，可见写得很好。

The mood意境

The first stanza begins with waking. The dream has just ended, the sky is grey, and thin rain drifts in the dawn light. The bamboo railing is a little cold, the orchid leaves rustle, and fresh green spreads all the way to the southern shore. In old poems the southern shore is where people part, so as the green reaches there, his thoughts seem to drift to the place where they said goodbye. No one is in the courtyard and the doors are only half open. He does not feel like doing anything. He only stares into the distance, and he cannot even count on a letter. The second stanza first looks back. Walking on the mossy path, he remembers playing on the swing together, and wonders who keeps her company now. Then he imagines her side: she must be frowning too, sleeping alone, often standing lost in thought. Writing from the other person's side turns the longing into something they share. The last lines are the most moving. How can he bring her back, hide her in the little hall deep in a mist of flowers, and keep her there until they are old? The words are plain and as stubborn as a child's, yet they are very true.

上片从醒来写起：梦刚醒，天阴着，晨光里飘着小雨。竹栏杆有点冷，兰叶沙沙响，新绿一直铺到南边的水边。南浦是古人送别的地方，绿色通到那里，好像心思也跟着飘到了离别的地方。院子里没人，门只开了一半，他什么也不想做，只是望着远方，可连信都指望不上。下片先回忆：走在长满青苔的小路上，想起当年一起荡秋千，现在不知道谁陪她了。接着他换到她那边去想：她大概也皱着眉，一个人睡，常常站着发呆。这是从对方写起的写法，让思念变成了两个人的。最后几句最动人：怎样才能让她回来，藏在花雾深处的小屋里，留住她，一直到老也不让她走。话很直白，像孩子一样任性，却特别真。
