斗dǒu: In nán dǒu (the Southern Dipper), the second character is read dǒu, not dòu.南斗：星宿名，斗读 dǒu。
为wéi: In yuàn wéi (wish to become), the second character means 'to be, to become' and is read wéi, not wèi.愿为：愿意做。为是“做、当”的意思，读 wéi。

Background创作背景

Ruoye Creek lies south of today's Shaoxing in Zhejiang. Legend says the beauty Xi Shi once washed silk there, and it was a famous scenic spot. This poem follows the poet boating on the creek one spring evening into the night. The year is not known. Along the way he watches flowers, stars and the moon, grows calmer and calmer, and at last wishes to live hidden from the world.

若耶溪在今浙江绍兴南边，传说西施曾在这里洗纱，是有名的风景地。这首诗写诗人春天的一个傍晚到深夜，坐船在若耶溪游玩的经过。具体写于哪一年已经不清楚。诗人一路看花、看星、看月，心里越来越安静，最后生出隐居的念头。

The poet作者

Qiwu Qian, whose family name Qiwu has two syllables, was a poet of the High Tang. His exact dates are unknown. He passed the imperial exam in the Kaiyuan years and served as an official, then gave it up and went back east of the Yangtze. He was a friend of Wang Wei and other poets. His poems are mostly about mountains, rivers and the hermit's life, quiet and clear in style.

綦毋潜，复姓綦毋，名潜，盛唐诗人，生卒年不详。他是开元年间的进士，做过官，后来辞官回到江东。他和王维等诗人有来往，诗多写山水和隐居生活，风格清幽。

The mood意境

The poem follows one night trip in order of time. At dusk, the evening wind pushes the boat along a flowery waterway into the creek, easy and lovely. At night the boat turns into the western valley. Looking up across the hills he sees the Southern Dipper, and the world suddenly feels high and wide. Then come two beautiful pictures: mist drifting gently over the pool, and the moon in the woods sinking low as if sliding behind the boat. The boat moves, the scene changes, and the poet's heart grows quieter. At last he thinks that life's affairs are a blur, and he would rather be an old fisherman. The beauty helps him set down his worries and makes him want to leave fame and gain behind.

这首诗按时间顺序写一次夜游。傍晚，晚风吹着小船，沿着开满花的水路进入溪口，轻松又美好。夜里，船转进西边的山谷，抬头隔着山看到南斗星，天地一下子变得又高又远。接着是两个很美的画面：潭上的雾轻轻飘，林间的月亮慢慢低下，好像在往船后退。船在走，景在变，诗人的心越来越静。最后他想到人生的事茫茫不清，不如做一个钓鱼的老人。美景让他放下了烦恼，也让他想离开名利。
